Bill adding environmental justice standard to CEQA passes Assembly

A bill that would require that the environmental review process for development projects consider environmental justice is heading to the state Senate. Assembly Bill 1001 passed a floor vote of the California Assembly Monday, allowing it to keep moving through the legislative process.
