On Monday, artist Andy Warhol made history. One of Warhol’s works, titled “Shot Sage Blue Marilyn,” was sold at auction by Christie’s Auction House in New York City, fetching over $195 million — the most ever for a 20th century artwork, and the second highest amount for artwork to ever be sold at auction, only behind Leonardo da Vinci’s “Salvator Mundi.” The piece, according to Jessica Beck, the Milton Fine curator of art at The Andy Warhol Museum on the North Shore, is exceptional…
