Elizabeth Holmes on Monday was denied her request for a new trial on charges which resulted in a fraud conviction in January. U.S. District Judge Edward Davila ruled that a new trial wasn't likely to produce an acquittal of the Theranos Inc. founder, saying her lawyers hadn't introduced material new evidence nor established government misconduct.
