April Industrial Production Jumps 1.1%, But March Numbers Were Revised Down

April Industrial Production Jumps 1.1%, But March Numbers Were Revised DownIndustrial production jumped 1.1 percent in April.  Also, capacity utilization climbed to 79.2 percent from 78.4 percent last month.

Economists were looking for 0.6 percent growth in production.

However, last month's March number was revised to a 0.6 percent decline, down from a flat reading.
