Lil Wayne breaks Elvis Presley record on Billboard's Hot 100 chartby

Billboard's Hot 100: Rapper Lil Wayne surpasses Elvis Presley as the leading male with the most entries

NEW YORK -- Lil Wayne, who is turning 30 today, has become the top leading male artist on Billboard's Hot 100 chart, surpassing long-time record holder Elvis Presley.

The rapper added his 109th appearance on the chart with Thursday's debut of Game's song "Celebration," beating Elvis's tally of 108 since 1958 when the Hot 100 chart started.

The "Glee" cast top Billboard's Hot 100 chart overall with 204 entries.

Here are the Hot 100 chart's top ten artists to date:

1 -- 204 entries: "Glee" cast
2 -- 109 entries: Lil Wayne
3 -- 108 entries: Elvis Presley
4 -- 91 entries: James Brown
5 -- 74 entries: Ray Charles
6 -- 73 entries: Aretha Franklin

9 -- 67 entries: Elton John
10 -- 63 entries: Stevie Wonder
