Nine years after Greek art heist, stolen Picasso found, police say

Police said that “Head of a Woman,” given in tribute to the Greek people by Picasso in 1946, as well as another famed oil painting, “Stammer Windmill” by Piet Mondrian, which disappeared from the National Art Gallery of Athens the same night, were found in a crypt in Keratea, a town in southern Greece.
