Economic blockade of universities if VCs follow governor's orders: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

Chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday warned vice-chancellors of state universities of an "economic blockade" if they heeded the directives of governor C V Ananda Bose and threatened to sit on a dharna outside Raj Bhavan if the governor's interference in the state's education system continued. She accused Bose of unleashing "chaos" and attempting to "demolish" the state's education system.
