The Maratha quota stir in Vidarbha is gaining momentum, with the Dhangar community joining the protests. The Sakal Maratha Samaj, leading the agitation, shaved their heads in protest against the delay in granting reservations. Raje Sangramsingh Bhonsale and others also expressed their support. Prohibitory orders were imposed in Akola, and traffic disruptions were reported in various villages and towns.
