Transfer, suspension, report in 2 days: EC takes action on Andhra post-poll violence

The Election Commission expressed discontent regarding the post-election turmoil in Andhra Pradesh and has issued clear instructions to the chief secretary and DGP to take measures to prevent any such incidents from happening again. All superintendents of police (SPs) have been directed to proactively implement preventive measures to deter similar occurrences in the future.
