On March 1, 2020, Alba visited the Cigar Bar with two of her co-workers. While waiting to use the restroom, a large wooden panel fell off the wall and struck Alba in the head. The paramedics were called and unfortunately this event caused serious and permanent medical injuries to Alba. The Cigar Bar failed to respond to the complaint filed on behalf of Alba leading to a jury trial.
