It differs from the 1st generation with a traditional single tab structure and the 2nd generation with a double tab structure, BAK's 3rd-generation small power battery with a continuous tab design features high power, small internal resistance, low temperature rise, fast charging, long cycle life, and high capacity. Its maximum charge and discharge currents have increased to 5C and 25C respectively, and its operating temperature range has extended from -40°C to 80°C. It is durable and can be applied in more scenarios by eliminating the pain point of large internal resistance in traditional cylindrical battery structures and reduction of charging time.

The three new products released by BAK offer different characteristics to accurately eliminate pain points in market segments. INR21700-40D is designed for the most demanding professional electric tools. It has a higher charge/discharge rate, achieving 100 A sustained discharge and 140 A pulse discharge, can be fully charged in 12 minutes, and has battery life up to 600 cycles. Compared with traditional 4.0 Ah lithium-ion batteries for power tools, this product's internal resistance is reduced by 80%, discharge current increased by 120%, and cycle life extended by 140%.

INR21700-45D serves consumer electronics and household electric tools (such as those for smart cleaning) and micromobility vehicles (such as electric motorcycles). It balances high capacity and high power to increase battery life and energy utilization. Its sustained discharge current can reach 70 A, while its internal resistance is only 3.4 mΩ, which, together with a full charge time of just 15 minutes, makes it highly suitable for various smart life scenarios.

INR21700-50D is developed for electric motorcycles running on beaches, offroad, on professional racing tracks, and under other special conditions. It offers a higher capacity of 5.0 Ah, 60 A sustained discharge current, and 100 A pulse discharge current, meeting the needs of high-speed electric motorcycles for long battery life and instantaneous high-current acceleration. It also supports discharge at an ultra-low temperature of -40°C. Its 3.6 mΩ internal resistance achieves efficient heat dissipation and it can be charged to 80% in 15 minutes, accelerating electrification in the micromobility sector and realizing stress free travel.
