The Healthy House Institute’s (HHI’s) Cancer Assistance and Relief Effort (CARE) helps raise money for foundations involved in cancer research and support.
Boise, ID (PRWEB) February 15, 2012
In a given year, the American Cancer Society estimates there will be 1.6 million new cancer cases and that approximately 572,000 people will die from the disease.
But there is some light on the horizon. The American Cancer Society reports the average five-year survival rate has risen from 50 percent to 68 percent over the last 30 years. This statistic is made possible in part through cancer research and advocacy efforts by organizations that rely heavily on donations to operate.
The Healthy House Institute’s (HHI’s) Cancer Assistance and Relief Effort (CARE) helps raise money for foundations involved in cancer research and support. Among these foundations are the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Breastcancer.org, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund.
“We are proud to offer companies and individuals an easy way to support cancer research, advocacy, and recovery," says Allen Rathey, HHI president.
To date the following companies have pledged support to CARE (some initial donated items or funds have been sent directly to a needy cancer patient - future donations are being requested to be sent to designated cancer charities):
*Advanced Vapor Technologies
*Antimicrobial Test Labs
*Clorox Commercial Solutions® Green Works Concentrated Cleaners
*E.L. Foust
*Filterstream
*H2Only Renewable Cleaning
*Installation and Cleaning Specialist (ICS)

*Process Cleaning for Healthy Schools (PCHS)
*ProTeam
