Minneapolis, Minnesota (PRWEB) June 02, 2014

It is not often that the events that cause harm to a credit score could eventually help improve that same score. With the announcement that United Credit Consultants™ is the official partner and sponsor of the 'They Ruined My Credit!' Story Contest, individuals who enter into the contest online will have the opportunity to repair the credit and score with United Credit Consultants™ team and will win 12 months of free credit restoration services with one of UCC’s FICO™ Certified credit advisors.

United Credit Consultants™, who is the official sponsor, specializes in credit repair and restoration with a license with the MN Dept. of Commerce as a Credit Service Organization (CSO). United Credit Consultants™ is GIVING away $500 cash prize and 12 months of credit services to the contest winner of the story contest chosen by Dave Ryan and the ‘Dave Ryan in the morning show’. Apparently, the company has had a number of experiences in which their clients have had their credit impacted by someone else, usually a spouse or partner. In soliciting these stories, the company is hoping to help someone who has been unfairly impacted by the actions of someone else.

"Ultimately, our goal in becoming the official sponsor of this contest is to help a very deserving individual who is in need of credit repair," said Joseph A. McGlynn, the president and CEO of United Credit Consultants™. In total, the contest prize is worth $2,000. Twelve (12) months of credit repair and restoration from United Credit Consultants has an estimated of $1,500, including the cash award of $500, bringing the total value up to $2,000. The prize amount is significant, especially to those who may be suffering financially due to credit struggles.

"This is something that everyone can identify with, regardless of their socio-economic background," said Joe McGlynn, founder and President of United Credit Consultants™. "People often have difficulties repairing and restoring their credit and there are often mitigating circumstances that influence these factors. It is simply our goal to help as many individuals as we can. It is our hope that this contest will help us achieve that goal."

The contest is open for a limited time only, and radio hosts of the KDWB 101.3 FM morning show ultimately select the winner.
