8/3: California wildfire challenging firefighters; Beloved HitchBOT destroyed in Philadelphia

The wildfire northwest of Sacramento exploded over the weekend, more than doubling in size, and scorching an area larger than the city of Seattle; and HitchBOT was created with one goal in mind: to hitchhike across countries.
