Applebee's and IHOP could be closing up to 160 restaurants this fiscal year, parent company DineEquity said Thursday.

Both Applebee's and IHOP are set to close multiple locations this fiscal year. DineEquity Inc., who runs both chains, said that 105-135 Applebee's could close while IHOP could see 20-25 locations close. Despite the closings, both Applebee's and IHOP plan on opening more locations.
