Hurricane Tammy has made landfall on the Caribbean's Barbuda as a Category 1 hurricane, with winds of 85 mph. The hurricane is moving north-northwest at 10 mph and heavy rainfall and flooding are likely over much of the Lesser Antilles. This comes just two weeks after Tropical Storm Philippe hit Antigua and Barbuda, causing significant damage. Hurricane Norma made landfall near the resorts of Los Cabos in Mexico as a Category 1 hurricane, but later weakened to a tropical storm. It is expected to bring heavy rain and potential flooding to southern Baja California and Sinaloa state.
