One person has been found dead and two others have been rescued after two freighters collided in the North Sea off the coast of Germany. The Verity, which sank, was on its way from Bremen to Immingham, while the Polesie was sailing from Hamburg to La Coruna. The vessels' cargoes are unknown. Four people from the Verity are still missing, while the Polesie had 22 people on board, none of whom were injured. Strong winds and waves were reported in the area.
