He's also celebrating his role in persuading air conditioner maker Carrier Corp to keep around a thousand jobs in the state, rather than move them to Mexico. The company will still outsource Indiana jobs to Mexico, and plans to close another factory in Indiana. Senator Bernie Sanders said the Carrier deal is incomplete. and leaves the Trump administration open to threats from other companies.
