News video: Legistlation Proposed For Consumers To Fight Wells FargoThursday 2 Democratic lawmakers introduced a bill that would give Wells Fargo customers the right to go to court, instead of private arbitration, to gain a resolution to consumer claims of accounts that were opened without authorization. In September 2016 Wells agreed to a settlement, totaling $185 million in penalties and $5 million to customers for opening up to 2 million deposit and credit-card accounts in their names without their permission.
