French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday (January 26) evening welcomed Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani for a meeting at the Elysee Palace in Paris.
The two leaders signed a "Strategic Partnership Agreement that puts in place a roadmap that expands the horizon of co-operation between our countries in a variety of fields," al-Sudani wrote on Twitter following their meeting.
