The Savannah is a hybrid cat breed developed in the late 20th century from the crossing of a Serval and a domestic cat.

The resulting offspring are usually tall and slender, with characteristic Serval large ears and a dark brown spotted coat.

Both F1 and F2 males can reach a very impressive height, and in 2016 an F2 male even set a world record for the tallest cat in the world, standing 48.4 centimeters tall.
