In the latest development of the Kari Lake defamation lawsuit, it appears that Lake has conceded defeat.
Lake, who is running for Arizona Senate, has been engaged in a long-standing crusade against Maricopa County election official Stephen Richer, whom she falsely accused of cheating her out of a gubernatorial election victory in 2022.
However, Lake has now announced that she will not contest a claim that she defamed Richer, a fellow Republican.
It is worth noting that Lake, a staunch ally of former President Donald Trump, has repeatedly insisted that she won the 2022 gubernatorial election, in direct opposition to the official results.
