Walmart partners with Lord & Taylor to attract upscale shoppers

Walmart is partnering with Lord & Taylor to bring the upscale brand to Walmart.com. The financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. The online store was touted by both companies as a “premium” shopping destination, according to The New York Times. Walmart’s site will eventually feature about 125 fashion brands, including Tommy Bahama, La La Anthony, H Halston and Effy. The Lord & Taylor store on Walmart.com will open in the next few weeks.
