Amazon debuts Whole Foods perks for Prime members at Florida stores

Amazon.com is using its ownership of Whole Foods Market Inc. to try to take a bite out of the Florida grocery market by offering in-store perks to members of its Prime program. Amazon on Wednesday said that Florida Prime members will be the first to receive in-store discounts at Whole Foods. Discounts for Prime members will be rolled out at all Whole Foods Market and 365 by Whole Foods stores later this year. There are 28 Whole Foods stores in Florida; 15 are in Southeast Florida.
