Luxury retailer Henri Bendel to close all stores, including in South Florida

L Brands Inc. is pulling the plug on a classic retail name. The Columbus-based company Thursday announced that it will close all 23 of its Henri Bendel stores including the historic Fifth Avenue shop in New York City in January. The brand has been around for 123 years and called Fifth Avenue home in New York since 1913, according to the website. L Brands acquired Bendel in 1985.
