Charles Wang, the former owner of the New York Islanders and founder of CA Technologies, died Sunday at age 74. Born in Shanghai, China in 1944, Wang was eight years old when his family relocated to Queens, New York. He attended Brooklyn Technical High School and, after that, Queens College. In 1976 when Wang graduated, he founded CA Technologies (originally Computer Associates International) on Long Island.
