A federal judge from Montana blocked construction of TransCanada Corp.’s (NYSE: TRP) Keystone XL pipeline Nov. 8, according to a court order. The pipeline would funnel crude from Canada south toward refineries on the Gulf Coast. The company, which has a major presence in Houston, will not be able to move forward until the U.S. State Department makes a further environmental review.
