With Nats in World Series, D.C. bars and restaurants hope to capitalize

The Washington Nationals might not be favored to win the World Series, but some D.C. bars and restaurants are pulling for a financial victory nonetheless. With the Nationals set to face off against the Houston Astros, the District is estimated to see $6.5 million in economic impact for at least two home games on Oct. 25 and 26, according to Destination D.C.
