Enertopia adds clean tech expert Mark Snyder to technical advisory board

Enertopia Corporation (OTCMKTS:ENRT) is adding clean energy veteran Mark Snyder to its technological advisory board. Snyder brings a 40-year career in the green energy space to Enertopia, an exploration and development company focused on using modern technology to produce lithium carbonate for batteries. The Kelowna-based company told shareholders on Wednesday that Snyder’s experience makes him a “great addition” to the firm’s advisory board. READ: Enertopia Corp gets US$200,000 as it inks royalty deal for future Clayton Valley production Enertopia CEO Robert McAllister said the company is “extremely pleased” to have Mark Snyder onboard.  “Mr Snyder has over 40 years worth of  experience in the Green/Cleantech space, which will be invaluable to Enertopia as we move forward not only on our current lithium project, but also as we review potential acquisition targets or JVs in the burgeoning field of off-grid and micro-grid storage systems,” McAllister said in a statement. “Mr Snyder’s experience in Solar PV/ Solar Heating/ Water Purification, alongside his unique knowledge of Lithium and Lead acid battery storage is an invaluable addition to the growing Enertopia team.”  Snyder comes to Enertopia with expertise in new technology, process development, feasibility study management and construction experience. “This is indeed an exciting time for Enertopia and I look forward to being a part of the team using my skill sets, such as Solar PV, Water Purification, Battery Storage, Battery Management, Battery Recycling, New Advanced Battery Technology expertise in working with Enertopia in the clean energy sectors as our collective goal,” Snyder said. In connection with the appointment, Enertopia granted Snyder 2 million options priced at US$0.02 for a two-year term. The firm recently struck a 1% royalty agreement on any future commercial lithium production from its Clayton Valley lithium project in exchange for US$200,000.
