Valero Energy Corp. could pay $3.4 million in penalties related to alleged violations from a 2015 fuel inspection, the company stated in its annual filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Valero (NYSE: VLO) in fourth quarter 2019 received a draft consent order from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposing the penalties.
