Pop TV to cut staff as ViacomCBS merges operations

Pop TV, the network behind “Schitt’s Creek” and “One Day at a Time,” is laying off employees in the wake of the recent merger between CBS Corp. and Viacom. The announcement came in an internal memo to staff sent Friday by Pop TV President Brad Schwartz. Schwartz didn’t specify how many employees would be laid off but said it was part of an integration of ViacomCBS.
