County declares state of emergency, as number of coronavirus cases rises to four

Mecklenburg County declared a state of emergency on Sunday as the novel coronavirus spreads. Two more people have tested positive for the virus, known as COVID-19, in Mecklenburg County, officials announced on Sunday. That brings the total count to four.
