These companies have laid off or furloughed employees in Tampa Bay because of coronavirus

As the coronavirus pandemic has taken hold of the U.S., countless businesses have been forced to close and lay off or furlough workers.  Nationwide unemployment claims continue to rise to over 16 million as another 6.6 million people filed for unemployment. In Florida, unemployment claims hit 169,885 for the week of April 4, which is down from the prior week's total of 228,484, according to the U.S. Department of Labor.
