When it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, there are the numbers that Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) likes to boast. For example, the company has deployed more than 150 Covid-19 safety measures to protect its warehouse workers. It expects to spend $4 billion on its response. And it's hired some 175,000 more people and bumped base warehouse pay by $2 an hour when so many other companies are furloughing or laying off workers.
