U.S., Canada extend border restrictions

Nonessential travel across the U.S. and Canadian border has been extended for the third time due to concerns over the coronavirus. The restrictions will now remain in place until July 21. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau confirmed the extension Tuesday. “This is a measure that will protect people on both sides of the border as we continue to fight Covid-19,” he said during a news briefing.
