County's Covid-19 counts decline, but still in triple digits

Nearly 800 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Allegheny County in the first five days of July, remaining at triple-digit levels daily despite a drop for three consecutive days. The five-day total of 797 in Allegheny County alone represent 25% of the 3,248 reported in the entire commonwealth. Sunday's count of 127 new cases was the lowest since July 1 when 110 cases were reported in Allegheny County. There were 150 cases Saturday and 177 cases Friday.
