MacKenzie Scott donates $1.7B of her Amazon fortune to more than 100 charities

MacKenzie Scott, ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, announced she has donated $1.7 billion to 116 different charities around the country. Last May, Scott joined the Giving Pledge, an “open invitation for billionaires” to commit to donating a large amount of their wealth to worthy causes.
