AMC Theatres starts phased reopening this week

The AMC Theatres chain plans to reopen 100 locations nationwide this week, and there's a deal for you if you see a movie on the first day back. In conjunction with its 100th year of operation — AMC was founded in 1920 with a theater at 12th Street and Grand Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri — all the company's theater locations reopening Aug. 20 will offer all available seats for the 1920's admission price of 15 cents each.
