GenomOncology selected to help expand pathology lab at UAB

A Cleveland-based company has been selected to scale up the molecular pathology lab at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. GenomOncology has been brought on board as well as two of its products, which will help boost the lab’s analysis capabilities.  In addition to the partnership, UAB recently hired Alexander Mackinnon as its new director of the Division of Genomics Diagnostics and Bioinformatics, and he is tasked with expanding the molecular pathology lab.
