VolitionRx Limited (NYSEAMERICAN:VNRX) announced the launch of its first product, the Nu.Q Vet Cancer Screening Test. The Austin-based company said the test is now available and can be ordered by veterinarians in the US from the GI Lab at Texas A&M University. The company said the test should be routinely used during annual wellness checks for “older dogs" (those that are seven years and older) and for cases where there is a high suspicion of cancer. “It can also be a complementary test for younger dogs of breeds with a high risk for developing cancer in their lifetimes, such as Golden Retrievers,” noted the company. The potential market opportunity is significant given that there are around 77 million dogs in the US. Volition estimated it would earn $45 per test. Biocept Inc (NASDAQ:BIOC) partner EIR Healthcare announced Tuesday it launched its modular healthcare initiative MedModLabs, which was developed in conjunction with Biocept and Measurement Vault. The mobile testing unit is designed to bring testing directly to people, offering non-invasive oral swab tests that deliver results in 1-2 business days, no prescription required. "Thanks to our focus on molecular testing in oncology, we had the right instruments, staffing and licensure for validating a less invasive orally collected COVID-19 testing solution,” Biocept CEO Mike Nall said in a release. “We're excited to bring this solution to communities in need through our partnership with MedModLabs, and will continue to assist in the fight against the pandemic as we work hard to deliver fast results.” Biocept is offering nationwide COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing to support public health efforts during the coronavirus pandemic. Todos Medical Ltd (OTCQB:TOMDF) said it expects 2021 to be a “transformational” year for the company as it continues to build upon the initial commercial success of its COVID-19 testing while focusing on breast cancer blood testing for its post-pandemic future. The company noted that it recently completed the installation of two Tecan liquid handlers at its largest lab client in Wisconsin, allowing it to process up to 20,000 qPCR COVID-19 tests per day and enabling it to increase sample inflows from its contract with the state of Wisconsin by up to 450%. Lexaria Bioscience Corp (OTCMKTS:LXRP) (CSE:LXX) has reported encouraging early results of studies, which used its DehydraTECH platform to deliver antiviral drugs to animals. The company's technology was found to "significantly" improve the delivery of two classes of antiviral drugs - a protease inhibitor and a reverse transcriptase inhibitor. Sanatana Resources Inc (CVE:STA) said it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Solomon Islands Ministry of Mining, Energy and Rural Electrification for exclusive negotiations with local landholders to acquire the prospecting and exploration rights to the Sutakiki mineral tenure in the Solomon Islands, which would also involve a joint venture agreement with Cobre Nuevo Exploration. The company noted that the 188 square kilometre (sq km) Sutakiki mineral tenure is considered prospective for copper-gold porphyry-style mineralization. It is also located directly south of, and borders, the more than four million ounce Au Gold Ridge property, which is targeted for production in mid-2021. Globex Mining Enterprises Inc (TSE:GMX) (OCTMKTS:GLBXF) said more work was warranted after it received drill assays from three holes at the Knutson portion of its Laguerre-Knutson-Raven River gold property in Ontario. The three holes totaling 759 metres (m) each hit three zones of geology, which corresponded to the downward projection of the mineralized zones. Assays included 0.66 grams per ton (g/t) gold from a true width of 2.83m at Knutson No 2, including 1.28 g/t gold over 1.16m. At Knutson East, 1.10 g/t gold was found over 5.66m, including 6.96 g/t of the yellow metal over 0.46m. American Manganese Inc. (CVE:AMY) said its RecycLiCo pilot plant leach stages achieved 99.7% extraction of lithium, nickel, manganese, and cobalt with continuous operation. The group said these extraction results can be attributed to the company's earlier pilot plant optimizations that include engineering upgrades and processing parameter modifications. Subsequently, the pregnant leach solution (PLS) from the successfully leached lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide (NMC) cathode scrap material will be prepared for the technical feasibility project, formally known as, Synthesis of Cathode Material Precursors from Recycled Battery Scrap. The prepared PLS is to be integrated with the company's recently acquired and specialized cathode precursor precipitation reactor.  Japan Gold Corp (CVE:JG) (OTCQB:JGLDF) (FRA:2LD) updated investors on drilling at its Ohra-Takamine project, a site of previous production, on the island of Kyushu, where one hole has been completed and a second was started this month. The two holes have been sited along an open ended, 3.5km corridor of alteration and epithermal mineralization defined by the Ohra, Takamine and Urushi historic mines, where mining was halted in 1943 by the government-imposed moratorium. The first hole was sunk below the Urushi Mine workings and completed on November 10 at a depth of 602 metres (m). An initial batch of samples from the upper part of the hole were dispatched in mid-October and the remaining samples have now been sent. Final lab results are not expected until early 2021. Esports Entertainment Group Inc (NASDAQ:GMBL), an esports entertainment and online gambling company, told investors Tuesday that it is pleased to see proposed Canadian Federal Government legislation that would legalize single-event sports wagering in the country. The proposed bill, C-13, would give provinces and territories the ability to offer single-event sport betting products and the opportunity to manage single-event sport betting in their respective jurisdictions. In provinces and territories that choose to offer single-event sport betting, Canadians could gamble online or in physical facilities, the company said. The bill was introduced to the House of Commons and underwent its first reading on November 26. He previously said buy for the first time on May 14, 2020, at $1.62. Highgold owns gold projects in Alaska and Ontario. It has been drilling its JT property in Alaska, with highlights including 18.1 metres of 14.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold equivalent (AuEq), 34.9 metres of 5.9 g/t AuEq and 14.2 metres of 5.0 g/t AuEq. Some of the holes are right on the border of the existing resource, indicating expansion potential. The company still has three drill rigs on the property and is hoping to squeeze out another 2,500 metres of drilling before winter sets in. In addition, Highgold owns the Munro-Croesus property in Ontario, which has been less active than JT but, in Taylor's view, holds "very exciting exploration potential." The company started a 3,500-metre drill program at Munro-Croesus in late September. "There is so much to like about Highgold," Taylor concluded, eagerly awaiting drill results.
