East Star Resources lists in London, backed by mining veterans

East Star Resources PLC (LON:EST), a special purpose acquisition company has listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. Among the company’s directors are well-known names in the mining and natural resources sector, including Anthony Eastman and Charlie Wood. The company’s non-executive chairman is Sandy Barblett, who has 25 years of experience in senior management, and was one of the founders of Capital Metals. The company raised just under £2mln on admission via a placing at 5p. By mid-morning the shares were trading at 6p. An acquisition is planned in due course.
