Alexandria, Samuels lab next to Fenway T station clears key hurdle

Alexandria Real Estate Equities’ plan to develop a 550,000-square-foot laboratory property on what’s currently a one-floor retail store between the former Landmark Center and the MBTA's Green Line Fenway station has cleared a key development hurdle. Alexandria came on as a capital partner in the Fenway project earlier this year, a blockbuster $1.5 billion deal in partnership with Boston-based real estate developer Samuels & Associates.
