One of the country's best new restaurants said to be in North Carolina

The country's best new restaurants are in places like New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago – and Sanford right here in the Greater Triangle. Fonda Lupita at 129 W. Main St. in Sanford was named one of the of 11 best new restaurants in the U.S., according to food publication Eater. Sanford, with its population of 30,000, is by far the smallest city represented on the list. The second-smallest city on the list is Miami, which has a population of over 450,000.
