Proposed bill that would expand use of tourism tax dollars gets first reading

A bill filed by state Rep. Anna Eskamani (D-Orlando) that could change the way Florida counties spend additional hotel bed tax revenue for public facilities, roads and affordable housing got its first reading on Jan. 11.
