Law: First DREAMer deported

Out. Juan Manuel Montes has become the first person to be deported while under the protection of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, NPR reported. The Obama-era program allows young people brought to the U.S. as children to stay in the country for renewable two-year periods. President Donald Trump has suggested his immigration policies would be lenient toward the program's 750,000 participants, also called DREAMers, NPR said.
