Apple releases eighth beta builds of iOS 14.5, iPadOS 14.5
Apple is now on its eighth generation of developer betas, with a fresh round of builds for iOS 14.5 and iPadOS 14.5 now available for testing.
The newest builds can be downloaded via the Apple Developer Center for those enrolled in the test program, or via an over-the-air update on devices running the beta software. Public betas typically arrive within a few days of the developer versions, via the Apple Beta Software Program website.The eighth builds arrive after Apple's seventh round, which were released on April 7, and follow after the March 31 release of the sixth round. The first round of betas were issued on February 1.
