What's the Title of the Next 'Avengers' Movie? (No Spoilers)by 👨‍💻 Graham Pierrepoint

Marvel’s upcoming Avengers: Infinity War may well be the most hotly-anticipated film of the year thus far, now that Ready Player One has been and gone – though Star Wars prequel Solo will obviously be gathering steam in its own way, as is Sony’s take on Spider-Man villain Venom – but there are plenty of reasons why the third Avengers movie is set to be the most explosive meeting of Marvel superheroes we’ve ever seen. Around 60 different names will reportedly duke it out for the fate of the universe, with rumors abound that we might not just be losing some of our favorite characters – but that we’ll be saying goodbye to them in the first few minutes of Infinity War. This, according to all the hype, should help to make it seem more and more like the ‘most ambitious crossover event of all time’ that has been building up for the past few months. Ready Player One might have had something to say about that – but fans are already concerned about what’s happening with Avengers 4.

The MCU, beyond the likes of Ant-Man and The Wasp and Captain Marvel, is being kept extraordinarily quiet in line with Infinity War’s release. This means that we won’t even know the name of the next Avengers movie until the very end of the latest effort, due to hit theaters in a matter of weeks. Rumors are circulating that the title of the movie will spoil major plot twists involved in Infinity War, meaning that we should expect big changes coming our way – not at least in terms of what’s likely to take place in Infinity War, but what is likely to come beyond it.

Chris Evans’ future in the MCU is uncertain – as is Benedict Cumberbatch’s, with Marvel yet to switch on the green light for a second Doctor Strange movie. There are very few characters who are guaranteed to get out alive – while we have a second Ant-Man movie on the horizon, there’s no guarantee this won’t take place in the past. There’s also a third Guardians of the Galaxy movie due out – but who’s to say this will comprise of the same band of heroes? Place your bets now – as even the big names at Marvel Studios are hinting that big names will be leaving us by the end of April 2018.
