Residents want Selma bridge named for local leader
Petitions have circulated for years to rename the Edmund Pettus Bridge for Rep. John Lewis. But some residents of Selma, Alabama are critics of the bid to rename the bridge where voting rights marchers were beaten on Bloody Sunday in 1965. (July 2)
