Trudeau government survives confidence vote in Canadian Parliament

As expected, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government received support from the New Democratic Party after Trudeau revised a relief bill to expand access to paid sick leave and benefits for workers left unemployed by the pandemic.
