New Zealand authorities announced plans to reopen the country's international borders to travelers in 2022 after adapting a new strategy to control the spread of the coronavirus. The phased approached will first allow fully vaccinated New Zealanders to enter the region starting from Jan. 16, with full reopening planned by the end of April.
